Olaudah Equiano and Samuel Pepys had very different lives so for Equiano his experiences were far more exciting than those of Pepys. The Diary of Samuel Pepys has simple notes of his day to day routines with women and his political agenda. On the other hand Equiano's narrative was more about his experience as a slave.
