Read the following poem and write your answer to the questions that follow. “Fire And Ice” by Robert Frost Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice. Identify a couplet? Find a line that shows alliteration and explain how it is alliteration. Divide the poem into stanzas by stating how many lines are in the first and how many are in the second stanza. What is the rhyme scheme of each stanza of the poem?
