I have a different view of this song than most. I think the "love" he's referring to is an alter ego trying to change his mind. When he says, "Can't get you out of my head", it's a psychological breakdown where he can't get this voice trying to steer his relationships out of his head.

If you've seen the music video, he's being hit and thrown by an unknown force. This force is his ego, trying to get him to listen to his conscience and stop being in hard relationships.

In most music videos, when the person doesn't agree with the other, or the relationship is failing, the significant other is always in the video too.

Hes ALONE in the music video. When he says, "You watch me bleed until I can't breathe", the only person who's watching him is his own conscience or alter ego, trying to control his life in relationships.
