Activity
Many famous works of fiction have been made into successful films and television series. Making movies from popular books puts pressure on
moviemakers to match up to the standards set by the book's author. Read task A and task B. Then pick one task and write a response. In the
answer box for the task you did not complete, write "See other task."

Have you ever watched a movie adapted from a book that you read and enjoyed? Which version did you like better--the book or the movie? List
some of the major differences that you noticed between the book and the movie. What might be the reasons for these differences? Write your
