Bella lives in a fantasy land where magic is an everyday occurrence. Although magic is not allowed in school, Bella is forced to make a difficult decision - she casts a spell to keep the baby chicks in the science lab warm after their incubator bulb breaks. Everyone is appreciative of Bella's quick thinking to save the chicks, but she must face the consequences nonetheless. Bella is disqualified from the broom - flying derby because she broke a school rule.
