In the despair of having the chance of saying a final goodbye, this man goes to the cemetery and in the darkness he comes across an event he never expected; he sees a dead man rising from his tomb and inscribing on his tombstone the truth about his life, which starkly contrasts with what has been written by his loved ones. The character on stone looks perfect and almost saintly, but the truth is dark and different and it seems death forces out the truth from the dead. In this manner, the narrator goes to find the truth about his beloved and her death. This story is written in first person, because it is the recount of a personal experience and the consequences on the narrator of this experience. If this story were written in any other point of view, first, the experience of the emotions that the writer tries to put forth, would not be as intense and deep.
