Imagery helps us unleash our imagination when reading a text, we tend to imagine what The character is feeling, or smelling, or hearing! In a magical story, the reader could close their eyes and imagine what having a spell put on them would feel like, perhaps painful, and scary, or what being turned into a frog may be like, Unimaginable or disgusting perhaps.
