Other struggles with the Spanish probably led to the ultimate fall of the Mayan Civilization. Traces of this ancient civilization yet remain in the tangled jungle undergrowth of Mexico. From these ruins have been unearthed hieroglyphic records of their learning, beliefs, and history.
