Write a paragraph explaining how theme develops in the story.
A. Write a topic sentence that mentions the theme, title, and author.
B. Then follow your graphic organizer and write your ideas about how protagonist, antagonist, conflict, falling action and resolution, mood, and setting develop in the story.
C. Be sure to include the theme of the story. D. End with a sentence that restates your idea about the theme.

Setting: The story has taken in a forest.

Protagonist: The Protagonist was Randell.

Conflict: He did not listen to his family and he did not really think that his family was wise.

Mood: Randell was scared, Lonely and tired.  

Climax: When Randall is lost, he has no food, and the sun is going down and he hears a river and sees an eagle.

Falling Action: When he thinks all hope is lost, he sees the eagle from his camp.

Resolution: At the end he can locate his family because of their wise words.

Theme: Randall gets lost after not listening by not bring his whistle.
