As the parents are occupied with August, who started going to school for the first time in his life, they pay attention to Via even less than before. With the death of her grandma, who was the only member of the family that was completely committed to Via, things are hard for her too. Via understands why children avoid August, they are all afraid of something that is different than usual, but that thought did not last long, as she knows that August is like any other child. Though she understands why he needs so much attention from parents, she still gets jealous.
