After reading approximately 100 minutes this week (20 per day) I would like you to consider a few character traits about your main character. For each character trait you will need to include:

text evidence from your book (citation - author's last name and page number) - example: (Johnson 15).
a brief explanation of the significance of the text evidence and connection to your claim about the character.
Character Traits to Define and Explain

Motivation: What motivates the main character? What do they seem to desire most in life?
Conflict: So far, what appears to be the main conflict the main character is struggling with? (internal or external).
Physical: What do you know about the physical traits of the main character? (Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Age, etc...) and how do these traits impact the story?
