The ringtone fought through my sleep. It insisted that I hear it and wake up. "No!” I shouted. After all, I had been working until two o’clock in the morning. It was now only five o’clock. But the ringtone wouldn’t give up. It was just too stubborn. It wanted its own way, and it was going to get it. So I threw my arm out, grabbed the phone, and growled into it, "Yes?"
