MAN VERSUS TECHNOLOGY
For the last creative writing assignment, I asked you to imagine a meeting between a human and a Martian after we read a story where just such a meeting took place. For this writing assignment after reading Fahrenheit 451, I want you to imagine some kind of confrontation or disagreement or even battle between a human being and some form of technology be it an android, a computer, or anything else you can imagine. When the two of them go at it, disagree, butt heads, fight, argue … one of them must win. Draws or truces are not allowed.
What must be in the story
Your story must be told by a 1st person narrator.
This narrator can be the human or it can be the computer
In the story, man and technology go head to head
There must be a winner
There must be some dialogue between the two of them.
You must write at least a page
Include lots of description
It is ok if you just tell one portion or episode of a story that is much longer
