Read this excerpt from "Daedalus and Icarus." Icarus began turning loops in the sky. "I feel like a god!” he cried. He circled his father and flew higher, laughing the whole time. "Icarus, stop these tricks!” Daedalus shouted. "Remember what I told you, and fly straight home!”

But Daedalus’s words were ripped away by the wind.

Meanwhile, Icarus was too busy enjoying the power of flight to care. Higher and higher he soared. "I can see all of Greece!” he shouted and soared even higher. "I feel like a god!” He laughed as he looked down on his father flying far below.

This excerpt is a good example of the struggle between Daedalus and Icarus because
