I have been selected to take part in a project at NASA. Astronomers are doing their best to build a radio telescope. The main task is that the radio telescope could detect alien life in outer space. The radio telescope will also create a map of the entire universe. The telescope includes 3000 separate antennas, and the telescope is also very powerful and sensitive. The telescope will let astronomers know more about dark energy and the telescope will also pick up faint radiation left over from the creations of the first stars, galaxies, or black holes. The construction site of this telescope is unusual, and it needs to be in an area free of radio interference. You can't really find locations in the world without technology, and it would be difficult to find the right location. I have been preparing for a week now, and I am so excited to the point where the radio telescope is on my mind everyday.
