I know we live in a time where we never seem to be satisfied until we know all the “why’s,” the “what’s,” and the “when’s.” But, are you satisfied that Malerman decides to never give the reader the origin of this creature (?) and what it looks like, or did you want to know specifically what we were dealing with in the novel?
