Attending classes synchronously is the best learning environment because, you receive direct instruction, feedback, and one-to-one help in breakrooms. Also,
attendance is taken during synchronous classes. However, if you elect to attend
class asynchronously, the District requires all daily classwork be submitted by 3:00
pm the following day, and attendance is based on that 3:00 pm assignment
deadline. Even though you will be marked absent if that day's assignment is not
submitted by 3:00 pm the next day, you can still submit late or missing
assignments for a grade. The District's policy for late and missing assignments is a
5-day extension from the due date. All assignments in Canvas, Noredink,
Commonlit are date and time-stamped.
