In what ways are women discriminated against in America today in your own words?

So many ways, first and foremost not being as strong or capable  as men are

The other day I was talking to my dad about how volleyball was going for me, and I said I ran a mile for tryouts in 7:30 (minute:second). He said he could've done it in under 6 minutes, so i said sorry I thought that was a good accomplishment. Then he pulled the back in my day, I was tougher than steel statement. I  felt really bad because he knows that men are naturally stronger than women and he holds it against me. I try my best but no matter what he always disses me for being a female. Like, yeah sorry I'm not your son that you never had, thats  why you gave me a boy name and it just really sucks
