THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE

I will never forget the biggest mistake of my life.Most people would usually say, "Oh that's not that bad," or "It's not that embarrassing." but it really was. It was early May, and I was putting on some makeup for the party that I was going to. My friend was turning 14, and I was really excited. When I got to the party, I wish my friend a happy birthday and we both went to go hang out and talk. After a few hours, we got called to come and cut the cake. I watched as my friend blew out the candles as we all sand happy birthday. I pushed my way to the front and gave her a big hug. Then came the worst part. I picked up the cake to transfer it to a bigger table to we could cut slices and give them to everyone else. I felt my nose twitching and tried to scratch it but both my hands were under the cake. Without thinking, I removed my hands from under the cake to sneeze into my arm. The cake fell down and splattered the whole floor. Icing flew everywhere and the cake was totally smooshed. Everyone stared at me in horror as a buried my head in my heads, embarrassment flooding over me. I ducked my head and ran out the door, down the street, and all the way home. Later, my friend texted me saying that it was okay and they had gotten a new cake. She invited me to come back but I was too embarrassed and refused. Now, when I look back at that scene, I ask myself, why would I do such a thing. I ruined the whole party. I bet people would say, "don't worry, I've done a lot worse than that", but still. That was definitely the biggest mistake of my life.
