For your essay, you will choose one of the themes listed below and write a 5-paragraph essay proving how the theme plays out in the novel. Which characters embody this theme? Body 3: Choose a third instance of your theme in the novel. You should back up this explanation with textual evidence and commentary about that evidence.
Conclusion: Restate what the theme was and what instances you used to back up your theme. Be sure to end with a universal statement about how your theme affects everyone.
