School Improvements Our school has received a grant from a local foundation, and the school board is deciding how to allocate the funds. There are many ways to help improve the school. However, the board
wants to use the funds in a way that would best benefit the students.
One idea is to remodel the school library. The remodeling would include making a space specifically designed for groups to study. Since more classes assign team projects, these groups
need a space on campus to work together. Currently, the only place students can work in groups is in the cafeteria, but it has too many distractions. Alternatively, having classrooms available
to students could also work, if students found classrooms that were not being used. This last solution for group study needs would not need to use any of the funds.
Another idea is to Improve the school's grounds. This would include the football, softball, and soccer fields getting new lawns. The new lawns would be great at games and may bring in
more people to watch our games. Also, the current lawn would be updated using faux turf, which would require less care. This could really save on the maintenance of the grounds in the long
run.
A third idea would be to invest in technology for the classroom. The school does provide computers in each classroom, but upgrading the equipment could really add to what students could
do. For example, a new printer for the science department so art students could print out their lab reports in color would be a great addition to the school.
Which opinion has strong support? A.)both arguments are well supported B.)upgrading equipment in the classroom could really add to what students could do C.) neither are well supported D.) the football, softball, and soccer fields need new lawns to make games better
