Change up a sentence and make this writing better for me Also, To make the story's plot more interesting, William Golding uses symbolism. For instance, as a character, Ralph changes in the story he never liked hunting before but he try it out he started likening it On page 87 it states “Ralph found he was able to measure the distance coldly and take aim. With the boar only 5 yards away, he flung the foolish wooden stick that he carried, saw it hit the great snout, and hung there for a moment. “I hit him,” said Ralph again. “And the spear stuck in a bit.” This indicates that Ralph hit the pig, since he proudly repeated his words, he was excited and proud of himself. Also, also on page 87, it states “Ralph talked on excitedly. “I hit him alright. I wounded him, the spear stuck in!” He sunned himself in their new respect and felt that hunting was good after all.” This section explains that after being able to injure the pig, Ralph decided hunting was a good thing. These reveal indications of symbolism. Overall, we can see that LOTF is more exciting with the change in character traits.
