If a narrator does not like something, does not care about something, or is over-enthusiastic over a certain topic, this may change the mood of the story drastically, whereas a non-biased narrator makes the story easier to understand, and questions are less likely to be asked. Narrators often announce their point of view on a situation, and do not describe it as it may be viewed by another person.
