A Candles Fire ( my poem )
What’s this? a stick of wax with a string I see? The wanting wick turning black as night as it hoards the flames touch as it meets! broken hearted, its afraid. She the lonely candle holding up her light making the darkness flee. The flame dancing in its own light, is it harming the frightened shadows? What is darkness afraid of when they are greater amount than she? Candle lonesome in silence as the darkness fades from her wanting fingers, hot to the touch but loving she can be. She wants a hug but is a clingy thing, everyone would agree. Because if she was a person shed love you unconditionally but after all its just a candles fire, and if candles had feelings everyone would agree, that no one likes being as alone as she.
