For survival a combination of physical, emotional/psychological, moral/ethical, and intellectual strengths are all equally required. It is because one cannot survive with just physical strength alone or any other strength alone.

For survival one needs to be physically fit, emotionally strong, mentally sound and intelligent. The need to think rationally and act accordingly at the right time with right amount of power is the idea of channelling all strengths together. Thus, all these strengths when combined together would give an individual higher chances of survival.
