What is the purpose of vaccines

The purpose of vaccines is to stimulates your immune system to produce antibodies, as in if you were exposed to the disease. This helps you have an immunity to the disease without having to get the disease. It also helps you be able to learn to fight against the disease if you ever get it. Vaccines also help you be less commonly to get the disease.
