HELP ME PLEASE! ASAP!! what to do when you see your area is in color green, yellow, red, orange, light green in the color coding of hazard map?

In any case, if the color is red, there is probably a warning that you need to know. Get news from a local tv station, or a local newspaper's website. your city county or state or National Weather Service may have posted warnings. Get reliable information about the warning and act accordingly.

It may be to take precautions, shelter in place, or evacuate. You need to know. Listen to the news on the radio or television.

Orange usually means a dangerous situation is developing and you should prepare to take action in case the hazard becomes worse.

Yellow is caution. Be aware of conditions that may be worsening, or that areas nearby may be experiencing hazards.  

Green usually means things are generally safe in your area.
