why is it not the best to have long term goals for getting your dream job - i need 3 reasons each reason having a paragraph. PLEAS ASA

1. You might not have the right Training or degrees for your dream job

In many cases for people the job they want when they think they qualify or have the certain training or degrees for it sometimes get told they are under qualified or Overqualified for the job they want which is heard often for some people

The job they want cost too much to get the training they need for it

For people money is a big problem and most people think of becoming lawyers , doctors or any big job that costs a lot of money and time which many people do not have. Law school as an example costs $67,081 at Harvard , yes the price could be changed depending on the school but the amounts are usually very high for just 1 year and since you need 7 full years of school to become a lawyer it will cost a lot of money and will end up putting you into debt.

3. The competition

Because there’s so many different fields in specific jobs you might find yourself not able to do certain jobs because of how many people are in the same field as you, Lawyers also as an example have a very big field since it’s a popular job but it also means that it has a big field full of a lot of competition that want the same job as you , not many people have the qualifications for certain jobs.

4. The pressure & commitment

Since you are spending a lot of money and time there’s a lot of pressure for you to do well in school to get the certain job you want. Depending on how well you do during college for your certain degrees you always have to push yourself to achieve good results for the job you want in the future which for some people is hard to do.
