Sports are a crucial part of a student's growth and development. Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit. It helps children to develop mental and physical toughness. Sport makes our bodies strong and active. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body. Through participation in sports and games, a student gains various skills, experience and confidence that are helpful for developing their personality.

Playing sports also contributes to muscle growth and coordination, cardiovascular health, and countless other health advantages, including chronic conditions including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, anxiety, etc.

On the other hand, sports can produce an unhealthy level of stress in a child, who is pushed to excel and who feels a failure with every loss. Sports can produce irrational, boorish behavior among parents and athletes. Sports can produce many athletes who are negative role models.
