Paige has been asked to respond to this excerpt from "On Becoming an Inventor" by Dean Kamen. I found that at college I could get help from my teachers with solving business problems and in learning new techniques for designing new things. I enjoyed talking to my professors and learning physics and other complex subjects--but I never had time to go to class. I literally never went to class. My professors were mentors and private tutors. The professors gave me as much time as they reasonably could. Every once in a while one would say, "Sorry, I've got to go teach a class"--and leave.

What is the best educated opinion that Paige can include in her response?

Kamen was a lazy college student.
Kamen had a strong desire to learn.
Kamen's favorite subject was physics.
Kamen paid his professors to tutor him.
