Conflict : “It’s time for bed,” Mother said, her grumpy tone tangling in her lips as she spoke. “5 more minutes?” I opposed, “I need to beat this game.” Fixating myself back on my computer screen. Mother got closer, snatching the controller from my hand. “Now. You have school in the morning.” No conflict: “It’s time for bed.” Mother smiled as she stepped her way into my room. I smiled back at her, pulling the blanket over my legs. “I know, goodnight Mom.” I spoke, closing my eyes.
