What are the responsibilities of this position? 4. What are the requirements for this position? What kind of education or work background is required? 5. What is your work experience? (List or make up at least two different prior jobs. 6. Which college did you attend, if any? If you attended college, what subjects did you study? If you didn't attend college, what kind of training, volunteer experience, or hobby do you have that is relevant? 7. List five or six terms specific to your future field or job that you'll use in your cover letter to show your expertise. Remember to use one of the dictionaries for help if you need it. 8. Write the first part of your cover letter, including everything that comes before the first paragraph of text. 9. Write the introduction of your cover letter. 10. Write the body paragraphs of your cover letter. 11. Write the closing paragraph and your signature and other closing lines. 12. Put together your entire letter.
