I haven’t read the book in 2 years so I hardly remember but I’ll try.

Explanation:

It made feel that you should be grateful for what you have. Esperanza had everything, but lost it, but she did gain wisdom. By her going through struggles, she learned to cherish what she has now. I like to think she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. When she lost her home, she then had a wooden spoon. But when she overcame her hardships and became thankful, she had a golden spoon in her mouth. Overall, it just made me feel grateful for what I already have, knowing you can lose it all in the snap of a finger.
