Why do all historical accounts, even history books, include some form of subjectivity when they are supposed to be objective? because readers need to understand how the people who lived through the event felt and thought
because they are written by people who have certain biases, and these creep into their writing
because objective writing is boring and dry and readers need some subjectivity to connect to the facts
because writers of history books want to express their own thoughts about the events
