I wrote a poem for my grandpa what do you guys think of it? You have to promise me
You will be alright
You have to promise me
You will fight

You cannot die on me
I still need you
You have always helped me
So let me help you

You are the light
in my darkness
You make me smile
When I am on the verge of tears

you taught me why
I need to live
You showed me love
When I felt alone

You grabbed my hand
And pulled me out
Of the darkness
That surrounds my head

I still need you
So please fight for me
I still need you
Do not let cancer win

Now I will take your hand
And guide you
Like you did for me
But please do not leave me

I am afraid I will turn to dust
Without you here
And if you cry
I will wipe away your tears

And when you are weak
I will help you see the world
Is under your feet
So please do not go

I cannot do this alone
But if you are hurting
And suffering
You can let go of my hand

I will be just fine
Even though it will hurt
If you are ready
I will stand by your side

I will shave my head
When yours is bald
Your my bestfriend
And I will be there until the end
