Verb Tenses
A verb is a word that shows an action or state of being, e. g. is, am, were, run, shout, etc.

Verbs change to show when the action is happening. This is known as tense, of which there are three forms:

Past: Actions that have already happened.
Present: Actions that are happening or generally happen.
Future: Actions that will or may occur in the future.
