How does John's decision to take the lead on the mountain climb contribute to the plot of the story?
ОА.
It makes the narrator begin to aspire to be like John
OB.
It exposes the jealousy that the narrator has for John
OC.
It causes the narrator to rethink his perception of John
OD
It triggers a bitter battle between John and the narrator

miles just to get to the base of the mountain Climbing
over it was the only way out. John and I had yet to say
a word to each other since we had our falling out a few
miles back. Getting lost together proved to be a trying

"Bryce, did you hear me?" John asked, "I've climbed
a few more mountains than you have so I think you

The greatest gift the sumerians gave the world was the invention of writing. the sumerians were wealthy people. they needed some way to keep track of what they owned. they began drawing pictures. they used a reed as a pen. they drew on soft pieces of clay. the soft clay was then dried in the sun. the tablet became a permanent record. later, the sumerian drawings changed into wedge-shaped symbols. this kind of writing is called cuneiform. by putting symbols together, the sumerians could write entire sentences.
