Write a formal report about 2 boys breaking a window

Two boys broke my window yesterday. It was very unfournunate for the owner of the house. Lucky, the boys were punished, though I do not think they meant to have broke the window. The boys may have just been playing baseball, and it was an accident. Though, they should have been more careful next time.
