Give an example of a paragraph for a counterclaim

Claim: Dogs are the best pet.

Counterclaim: Cats are the best pet.

Explanation: Some people might argue and say cats make better pets than dogs. Cats are generally more calm than dogs and overall, do not require as much work. Once cats are litter box trained it is much less likely for them to have an accident than dogs. Cats like attention however they are more likely to just sit in your lap rather than run around the house. I still believe dogs are better than cats, however I can see the opposing argument.
