To Ashton, my love, and my light S T R E N G T H

We are small, weak at that
But that's what they want you believe are the facts.
For you are strong, and beautiful too
Your heart that is, it's all in you

Don't let them control you
Please do not give in.
For if you let them
They'll be the ones who win

They will attempt to put us down
and even if they succeed, we will not drown
In their harsh words an their tainted touch
We cannot let our hearts remain in their clutch

We need to be strong
And we need to fight back
So them that they dont hurt us
No matter how much they attack

We need to stand still
Swallow the bitter pill
That they hand to us with intentions to kill
Our life and free will.

We will not give them pleasure
of seeing our pain
for we cannot let our minds
be beatten in vain

We must hide our hurt
from their visible veiw
we must stay strong
because Ash I still need you

We must hold onto each other
As this time goes by
Hear out one another
and know it's ok to cry

We must stand tall and take
their bullets like a soilder
for sooner than later
will this war be over

Have hope my love
For the time will come
when we're free from their grasp
and belong to no one.
