I will collect all your notes (or a selection of these) by the end of the class, but you will also write an essay about the book later in the class, so these notes are really important. However, here I would like you to try to ask one Inferential/Interpretive Question about the portion of the book you have read so far. See a description of how to write Level Two Inferential and Interpretive Questions from this handout and then attempt to answer another student's Interpretive question: 1. Ask one interpretive question (a good one will be very open ended and get at something mysterious, why someone does something, for example, especially if there are hints, but no definitive answer)
