To cite a few examples, they told me they were in college (they weren't), they had jobs (they didn't), and they had gotten perfect scores in their SATs (they hadn't). So you can see why I'm apprehensive about encouraging Kathy, who is so gullible that she believes everything anyone says. I can't wait to meet Mr. Perfect. He's probably a liar or a lunatic. And I'm not sure which is worse.
