Artists have been revealed to be racists, misogynists, anti-Semites, homophobes, creeps, criminals and hypocrites. Should that change how we view their art? Or should art solely be judged by its aesthetic merit?

Does a viewer have an ethical responsibility to stop enjoying art because of a “problematic” artist? Why?
