This is relevant because he use these references to express different problems that should've changed. Even though he was killed his words are heard throughout literature and history book. He wanted change and his words to be heard. He wanted his words to be agreed upon. Now, we hear about him because the hatred and anger from the past was like a blind-fold. We couldn't see the problem of which Dr.King spoke of or fix it. But, now we are the future who takes a stand against it. That's the reason why it is relevant.
