The way sergei reacts when yoni comes to his door was not rational nor reasonable. I think it was mainly because of the fact that he thought that yoni knew about the magical fish. Also because his hebrew was not that great.

Sergei did not like people knocking on his door and ask him questions. It was from when he was small that he had experience with stuff like it, which is why when it actually happened to him in the new place he moved to, the reaction was irrational.
