Why do you think Serafina chose to tell the story of her survival of the Holocaust?

Serafina Strasser chose to tell the story of her survival of the Holocaust for three main reasons:

1. To ease her stress and anguish from the Holocaust experience.

2. To remember her relatives who did not make it to the other side of death in gas chambers.

3. To warn against a repetition of the ugly history.

Explanation:

As one of the survivors of the Holocaust, Serafina Sharlotta Strasser, decided to tell her story for the above reasons.  The Holocaust refers to the state-sponsored persecution, the actual killing of an estimated six million Jews, and the attempted annihilation of the Jews by Nazi Germany and its allies.  The horrible event, called the Holocaust, took place during the second World War between 1941 and 1945 in the German-occupied Europe.
