What do you think constitutes a satisfying ending to a book, film, or play? What makes the ending of a narrative satisfying?

Good endings make sense; evoke emotions like contentment, anger, sadness, or curiosity; shift the reader's perspective, or open her mind to new ideas. They do not confuse or cast the whole story as a hoax. Good endings bring the hero—and, more importantly, the reader—to some kind of destination (even if it's a trap).

In this case, I'd encourage you to make it satisfyingly like you've lead someone to a bunch of monsters And (to be continued) Or something like that Maybe even if you were curious about what was in a room but it was a trap or something.
