It's time to create a thesis statement (claim) and create your plan. ( THE THING I CHOOSE Is education important?)

Remember...you claim MUST have two reasons within the statement. It should ONLY be one sentence!!

Example Claim: While some people think it's acceptable to own a gun, they should not be placed in the hands of the people because they create a false sense of power and they can be a cause of people dying.

Once you've written a claim, you need to also point out your TWO supporting claims.

Example Supporting Claims:

1. Guns give people a false sense of power.

2. Guns are the cause of people dying.

THEN create plan for your essay. Your two supporting claims will the be topic sentence for each body paragraph.

The Plan must include the following:
