The story:
Compare the two individuals stories below and their perspective on team management and priorities.

FULL TIME DAD: John is a full time dad, he wakes up when his two daughters wake him up and often his day is driven by loads of laundry, feeding his kids, changing their diapers and clothes, taking his one daughter to speech class and making a meal for his family for dinner time.

Late at nights he gets on his computer and prioritizes writing one blog post for a stay at home dad blog he runs. His day is prioritized quiet lucrative and is ran through the daily emotional needs of his kids but it is important that he is there for them in these adolescent years.

FULL TIME WORKING MOM: Emily is a career woman. She is passionate, energetic, hard working and over performs on all her duties. She is rising in her company and is a sales woman. She wakes up bright and early and out of the house before the kids or John wake up. By 8:30 am she is the first in the office, already worked out, read part of a book and replied to all emails on top priority.

She's brewed the coffee and ready for her boss to come in and rattle off the days tasks and customers that need to be called and pitched. When home she may or may not have to pick up a call or blast an email out to coworkers. She puts the kids down, gives them a kiss and then back to the races.

THE COUPLE TOGETHER: John runs at a different pace than Emily but she doesn't judge or get frustrated at him since they have a different priority. As a team they are perfect together, both running in their lanes. John can sometimes be frustrated at Emilys drive and determination but he sees the best in it. He says "at least I don't have a lazy wife and she always still prioritizes her family when it's needed most."
