Writing a Poem about Social injustice​

There are those in the world who are dying,

Because they don’t get the care that they need,

Which does not stop them as they keep trying

To stay alive, waiting for one good deed.

There are those in the world who just don’t care,

They walk on the other side of the road,

Helping people in need, they would not dare

Regard it, they would rather write an ode.

People who are less fortunate than us,

Do suffer but you don’t hear them complain,

About their condition, there is no fuss,

But there are some of them that go insane.

We should think about those in need each day,

Even just a little deed, goes a long way.
